Smothered

Our eyes crossed and we shared a moment,
Your voice spoke to me so gently,
Like the sweet humming of a sparrow's song in the morning as it takes flight,
I needed you,
From the very moment in which we touch,
You ignited my soul in flames,
Fire and passion taking over ever sense,
Brushing against your being,
Sparking desire beneath my very skin,
Crawling through my veins,
Seeping into my bloodstream,
Carried straight into my life source, My heart...

Love, pain, excitement, and horror stir up my head,
Turning my mind to panic and insanity,
Entwinning my insides with indecision,
I can't need you this way,
My heart stops with your breath whispering in my ear,
Your hands gain complete control over this temple,
Smothered beneath your kisses and lust,
Realizing something has happened,
Giving everything,

Recieving nothing but the cold dark shadow of non-exsistance,
Loving in Lies, Laughing in Tears,
A one-way road into the sunset alone,
I should have said I love you,
But what needed to be said was goodbye,

So here I stand,
A helpless girl,
Ready to break your chains and free myself from this hell,
Goodbye my love...
